How To Fix Sticky Joystick Ps4
How to fix a sticking or "Sticky" analog stick?
So, my new PS4 controller which I've head less than 6 months already has the right analog stick sticking towards the left ever so slightly. This will surely make me less accurate in FPS games.
Do any of you guys know fixes to this sort of thing? I'd rather not go spend 60$ on a new controller to be honest with you.

Something I've always done is put the stick straight up and rotate it a few times, without pushing it back down and the lightly smack the stick back down.
If that doesn't work then GameStop offers $30 dollars for a controller with pro membership if you can't find a solution

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it. I'll try the method you suggested.
Edit; IT WORKED! Thank you!

I was thinking about the same thing, I'll have to look into that.

Surely it is still under warranty if it's just 6 months old? I have gotten up to two year old controllers for both the X360 and Wii U exchanged under warranty due to stick drift.
Tried taking it back to the store or asking Sony for a replacement?

Graphite is a dry lubricant, try pushing a pencil around the outsides of the analogue stick and the base of the stick itself, basically anywhere that makes contact between the stick and the controller. Also this works well for triggers getting stuck.
EDIT: for the trigger thing pull the trigger down (like your shooting) and draw along the cylindrical tube like plastic along the inside. When doing this its best to use a HB or 2B pencil as its softer and will leave a better residue.
